How to Advertise

All instructors are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with our Advertising Policy before starting to promote themselves to members of this network. Spamming of any kind will result in suspension or expulsion.

Your Profile

Please login to your player profile and set your level to INSTRUCTOR for each sport that you are currently certified to teach. Once you do this, your name will automatically be included on the list of instructors posted on your club’s home page.

Check your profile to make sure it is attractive and sells your services. Double check your profile for grammar and spelling. If you have a website, make sure it is correctly indicated. If you have a Facebook account, make sure that it is correctly indicated too.

Lessons, Leagues and Programs

When/if you have specific lessons, leagues or programs to advertise, we can advertise them in the LESSONS, LEAGUES AND PROGRAMS section of your club home page. We can also include these programs when making our regular email announcements to members in your city.

Blog About Your Sport

Making regular contributions about your sport to our blog will help raise your profile amongst network members.

General tips and hints are very popular with readers. They also allow you to “sell” the lesson and they give you an opportunity to mention that you are a certified instructor. It doesn’t take long before readers begin to feel that they know you. And we all know that customers prefer to book lessons from somebody they know.

Without exception, instructors who contribute regularly to our blog get more business than instructors who don’t.

Instructor Websites

If you want to set up an independent website, you have two choices. Either set up your own and we will link to it or have us build one for you ($500.00).

If you choose the latter option, your site will be partially integrated into our network as yourname.racquetnetwork.com. Your site will be a fully configurable WordPress blog equipped with all of the tools you need to communicate with your students.

Each website also comes with 10 hours of technical support and training, 500 Racquet Network business cards and your own email address (yourname@racquetnetwork.com).

Choosing the Racquet Network option will automatically make your site perform better than any free-standing instructor site for these reasons:

  • Racquet Network is already indexed by Google and others
  • Racquet Network is already highly ranked in all major markets
  • Racquet Network already has thousands of users daily
  • Racquet Network has already reached critical mass
  • Racquet Network is constantly advertising on other sites

Think of it this way. You can set your store up on a quiet residential street where only a few people will see it or you can open your store in a shopping mall where thousands of people pass through every day. A Racquet Network site is the equivalent of opening your store in a busy mall.
